Voneisen is a small hobby kennel based in Ballyclare, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
We started with one German Shepherd which we bought to show and also as a pet and it all really started from there.....  We simply fell in love with the breed and with the all the aspects associated with it.
Two years on we then purchased a beautiful German Import as our foundation female, Weika Von Der Thorner Insel Sch3, thus began the kennel Voneisen.  Weika was V3 at the 2011 Irish Sieger Show, we are very proud of her and her achievements here and in Germany.
We are very proud of our dogs and the bloodlines we now have in our kennel. Our first litter was to the 2010 VA1 Ober Von Bad Boll and our second litter was to 2011 VA4 Ando Von Der Hopfenhalle.
We carefully did our research and with help from Germany imported Weika Von Der Thorner Insel as the foundation female for our kennel, she is a Hill Vom Farbenspiel grandaughter, she is Sch.H3, KkL1 and gained V3 grading at the Irish Sieger Show 2011. We believe temperament is everything and Weika has it all, looks as well as brains!
All our dogs have excellent temperaments are health tested ie Hip and Elbow scored, some through the German SV system and some through the British system. A few have been breed surveyed and we are working towards getting all of them through the breed survey.
We only breed when we are looking for something ourselves from a litter so this can only be once every 18-24 months and we have carefully chosen the dogs we have used eg VA1 Ober Von Bad Boll.
Our aim is to breed high quality dogs with good character and as correct to the breed standard as possible.
