GERMAN SHEPHERDS HAVE BEEN A PART OF MY LIFE SINCE CHILDHOOD. IN 1980 I BEGAN TRAINING IN PUERTO RICO TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL DOG HANDLER AND TRAINER. IT WAS THEN THAT MY APPRECIATION FOR THE GERMAN SHEPHERDS SKILLS AND INTELLIGENCE WAS DEEPENED. A PROPER GERMAN SHEPHERD IS TRULY AN ALL PURPOSE DOG. 

​​MISSION: THROUGH SELECTIVE BREEDING AND TRAINING PROVIDE OUTSTANDING AND HEALTHY GERMAN SHEPHERDS. THEY WILL BE INTELLIGENT, CONFIDENT AND STABLE WITH STRONG BALANCED DRIVES. THEY WILL POSSESS A PRONOUNCED LEVEL OF COURAGE ALONG WITH OUTSTANDING MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SKILLS. SOME BECOME REAL WORKING DOGS, OTHERS FOR SPORT OR AS AWESOME FAMILY PETS.

All of our dogs are directly imported from Europe and have certified hips. They are also titled in Tracking, Obedience and Protection. This is very important as this shows the temperament of the dog.

Breeding is very time consuming and is also a very expensive hobby. We have one goal and one goal only and that is to always carefully select each breeding with the goal of improving the breed.  Temperament and health is very important to us.

The two greatest misconceptions that we find when it comes to protection dogs is that a fierce-looking dog with a nasty bark will be enough to thwart any real danger. We are a small hobby breeder located in the Dallas Fort Worth area that takes pride in our dogs. We have top quality Czech German Shepherds. We feel we have some of the best dogs in the United States. Our dogs are very serious when it comes to work but they are also great family dogs. All of our dogs live in our home. We train in various types of personal protection but our main focus is on PSA Protection Sports Association. Our dogs are x-rayed and all have good hips. We use methods know as Early Neurological Stimulation on our pups. If we don’t have what you’re looking for then we will find it for you. My name is Thomas Sauerhoefer. I am a breeder of German Shepherds since 1980 in Germany. I am the President and founder of the Marysville Schutzhund Club, and a member of the SV in Germany, United Schutzhund Clubs of America, and the GSDCA-WDA.

 I came to America ten years ago from Germany. My goals are to help people obtain higher quality dogs through my breeding program and importing services and to offer the highest quality dogs for Schutzhund, show, family, and companion. I grew up with dogs all my life. When I was 10 our family got a wonderful boxer, and when I turned 16 we got a Rottweiler named Arko. A close friend of the family took him for schutzhund training because we needed a protection dog for our company. My interest and fascination with the sport of schutzhund took off. At age 18, I bought my first dog, a German Shepherd. I had fallen in love with the breed for their looks and intelligence.

 I started my career in Schutzhund and dog training with Vasko, a German Shepherd with working bloodlines. I titled Vasko to a SchH 3 in only one year and then I bought a female named Banja and titled her to a SchH 3 too. After I got her titles and breed survey, I bred Banja to Vasko and had my first litter of pups. I kept a male pup from this breeding and named him Kim. I trained Kim to a SchH 3. I bred three more litters with Banja, always with good results.

 One of the best training helpers in Germany was a member of my club and saw my love for the sport and talent for training dogs. He taught me everything about Schutzhund helper work. By the time I was 24, I started training dogs for other people, both working and show lines, because they also saw my talent for training.

Kore K9 breeds and sells elite working canines. We are extremely selective in the canines that we place. Working canines have a profound importance in the day to day lives of the people they serve and within the communities they work. We know because Krys lives in a law enforcement household.

Each canine is personally selected by Krys and her team who has been working with canines for 20+ years. Krys specializes in working canines, and the behavior, and psychology of canines. All selected canines are put through battery of tests, including courage, drive and ability to adapt to new situations.
