are a small hobby kennel located in western New York dedicated to
preserving and improving this awesome breed for which it was designed.
We are combining the top West German show lines from top VA and V rated
dogs to produce outstanding dogs here in the U.S. Our top priority in
breeding is focused on calm steady temperments, conformation,
intelligence, and working ability.
Our
pups go to their new homes stable, happy and very confident in every
situation. Our stock is either OFA or PennHip certified for hips and
elbows and also DNA typed. All our dogs are fully vaccinated, on
heartworm and flea prevention and free of genetic problems.

GSGSR
is a rescue, not a shelter. Therefore, we do not have the ability to
take in a stray dog. If you would like help with a stray German
Shepherd, you need to contact your local Animal Control Officer (ACO),
police department or shelter. GSGSR works with many shelters throughout
New Jersey, if you know of a German Shepherd at a shelter, or would like
advice on which shelter would be best to use, please reach out to us
via email.

not have a central facility. The fastest way to contact us is via email.

breed our bitches to Imported VA registered dogs. We select our female
puppies specific for their temperament, the most important of all!
Most of our buyers are for home-protection as well as family pets.
All our dogs have breed-restrictions on them, which only the breeder are allowed to lift, when applied for.
We have a very strict code of ethics for breeding, and we strive to breed from the best, to produce the best!
